No Goodbyes

This could never be goodbye,
for I know we’ll write together again.
The question is not if,
I only ask when?

Writing with you
has been a true inspiration,
each day a new assignment,
words toying with my imagination.

But it’s much simpler than that,
as words flowed freely from my mind,
even though I seem to be playing catch up,
always feeling just a bit behind.

For I have so much left to read,
your words are something I want to see.
Your support and comments have touched my heart,
gratefulness I felt from the start.

A huge thank you to all the great writers I’ve seen.
I loved being part of a Writing 101: Poetry.

  1. Hey Kathy, I miss reading your posts, I hope you are well.
Please don’t worry if things are not going good for you,
Just remember that Lord will make a way,
Even in the darkest of the night
    Where hope seems very light
He will hold you in his Arms,
And in those arms you will find shelter
You will find your warmth and strength
I will pray for you Amen.

    • Hey Sam. I’m still here…just busy. Work, kids, life – keeps me moving. I know I haven’t written in awhile and I miss writing personally. But sometimes I feel like it would be the same thing – I miss my mom, always will. Some days lately have been hard, but mostly status quo. I’m looking forward to another poetry class or challenge. I thank you for your kind words. I know the Lord is always with me. I hope you are well too. Take care!

      • Hey its nice to hear from you mate!
Well I won’t force you to write, but if I may, I would like to share an experience with you, you know, we are writers, we don’t write for others, we don’t actually need people to read us, we write because that is the one thing that we are good at. One thing the society won’t judge. Lately on those days of depression when I stopped writing, i felt so heavy, I felt like I cannot express myself, I kept visiting my psychiatrist but it didn’t help, what did was turning to God, who granted me among other things the ways and means to write again, and trust me when I say, i’m good now. So here’s the Golden words by which I want to end this conversation,
“Maybe just a line or two, if you can write won’t hurt you’
And all the best for your life! And thanks for keeping that faith alive.
        TC
